Just opened Gmail again from the "problematic" computer and the only app
still there is "send this page by email."  Checked one of the other
"healthy" computers, and the "send this link with Gmail" app is still
there" as is "send this page by email."

Just returned from getting kicked off Gmail!  Unfortunately, the saved
draft didn't have half of what I wrote.  (Yes, now I realize I should have
been saving as I wrote, but it's usually not necessary.)  Chrome has been
"snapping" a lot tonight upon attempting to open it.  Cleared the browsing
history--it was very quick.  Then got a message that my chat session was
interrupted.  I wasn't chatting with anyone.  All contacts' icons were
gray, including mine.  Everything remained normal on the other "healthy"
computer.  Since getting kicked off on the problematic computer, my chat
list has returned to normal; that is, my icon is green again (available)
and someone else's is orange (idle).

When my husband logged on to the computer as a separate user a while ago
and opened Gmail, he experienced no problems.

Is there a doctor in the house--I mean group?  *~Dodo*
