Yes, of course I checked the Spam and Trash folders repeatedly, as those
"disappeared" emails occurred. I never found the missing emails. Most of
the time it doesn't matter, because I'm only doing personal correspondence
- but sometimes a missing piece of personal correspondence can cause lots
of trouble!
That's a good suggestion to try to report it to Google. I'll do that.
