I have my iphone Contacts synced with my Win7 Outlook. I have been using
yahoo mail for webmail access to my main sbcglobal email account. I have
not yet put all my contacts in the cloud. I am thinking of switching from
yahoo mail to gmail and at that time I think I will want to put the large
amount of contacts into gmail. Currently I have a subset of that in my
gmail and some those guys seem to automatically be connected to me in
google+.
I would like to avoid having the contacts of people get all mixed together
as google+ friends the way facebook sort of does it by default or did back
at some point - don't know much about it really.
I want each entry in my gmail contacts to not know that I have other
entries. Basically I want privacy and no linking of anything unless I want
to do it.
What do I need to do when I do the .csv export out of Outlook and import
into gmail to make sure things are clean? I ask this because when I
started to do this same thing to import the Outlook contacts into yahoo
mail I got some page saying that I agree to give a company called
TrueSwitch the right to my contacts and I don't know what they do with that.
