I tried to make the Subject descriptive enough for Subject Skimmers to get
enough information to distinguish this problem from other non-delivery
problems
After years of not seeing this problem, suddenly some, but not all, of my
incoming emails are being marked *read* and *archived* (they don't show up
in the *Inbox*, but are in *All Mail*.
Some of them are addressed to my Gmail account, and some of them are
addressed to another email account which is forwarded to my Gmail account.
I have a bunch of filters, but not a single one has *Mark as Read* as an
action. Every one that has *Skip Inbox*, also has either a *label* applied
or *Delete* as actions.
I am at a loss to discover the common element that is causing some, but not
all, emails to be mishandled this way.
