Job opening: Java Web Developer

Come work for us! We are a small research team at UNC-Chapel Hill.
This is a full time job with flexible working schedule and possibly
convert to perm position. Office locate at I-40 exit 266. We are
looking for someone has great programming skills, entry level need not
apply.

-- server-side java programming: dealing with large, complex java
applications with database and networking compontents; especially
ability to quickly debug, modify and expand existing applications
-- html and jsp for web frontends to these applications (using beans)
-- sql database management
-- maintenance and security of a linux server machine running apache
with ssl and tomcat, postgresql
-- planning and executing work with little assistance and oversight;
flexible hours (i.e., ability to work more hours than usual when
necessary to meet deadlines)
-- effective communication with clients; collaboration with a graphic
designer and occasionally other programmers and database managers
--ASP.NET in VB.NET is a big plus!
