[Active4d-dev] Getting/Setting Session data from 4D code?

Active4D v5 r37

Active 4D provides a plugin command, A4D GET SESSION DATA, which given a Session ID would allow a 4D (not A4D) method to read session value. Is is possible to go the the other way and have a 4D method update data for a particular session? I basically need to extend the session or set a few keys if they don't exist.

Could A4D Execute text (or A4D Execute file) be used to accomplish this?  I have to admit that I've never used that command.

I have one site which is a mix of Active4D and 4D pages (using NTK as the web server). We are moving this site to use a central authentication service. The authentication part was very easy using Apache and the mod_auth_cas module. This site did not need session support in the past, but does now. Mixing Active4D and 4D pages obviously complicates things.

Thanks,

Brad Perkins
