I was thinking about copying, not moving; simply to avoid touching the  
existing build system.  But yeah, you're comfortable with it, so we might  
as well do it then.  Your plan sounds good.

As far as linking to those announcements, that could either be a new  
subsection of Community, or just add a box to the top of Old news.  Either  
is fine with me.
