Vertical spacing on first of several pages

Hello,

when working on a score a few days ago I noticed that I would prefer
(and have often seen in printed scores) the staves on the first page (if
they are fewer than normal due to headers) to be stacked at the bottom
of the page with normal distances rather than have them spread over the
entire page with overlarge distances.
Presuming that this won’t be made standard behaviour, it would require a
command like the \vfill command in TeX, which, after the content has
been spread over the pages, inserts as much vertical space as fits on
the page.
Of course, one might just insert \markup \vspace #x and adjust it by
trial and error, but it would be more complicated and less elegant.
Do you agree that this is a good idea?
Greetings

Simon
