Yes, we went into the preferences of Word (for each user) and turned
off "autosave" under the Save options.  This has stopped all of those
problems, except one about a framework library refusing to load and
that doesn't cause any problems - so we just choose "ok".  At least
it hasn't caused any problems yet:-)
