For clarity sake we do not have any vlans any Macs are participating in, and
all our equipment is using single ethernet ports. Servers have fixed IP
addresses and clients generally have DHCP, though a few have fixed IPs in a
different sub-range of the local addresses - they don't appear to have any
As a hypotheitcal... if a machine were to fail to get DHCP assignment during
boot and later got one, what would be the affect on LDAP connections??
