I agree with Barb.

Most of the medications that veterinarians prescribe for pets are human
drugs and can be purchased at "people" pharmacies, but you'll need a
prescription from your veterinarian in order to get the medications.  There
are not that many FDA-approved veterinary prescription drugs that are
exclusively made and manufactured for "pets."
In fact, with the current advertising and pricing that pharmacy, Costco
type stores and grocery store chains have for generic drugs, you may be able
to get most, if not all, of your pet's prescriptions very inexpensively.
