IrDA standards are very popular right know, but some of us still needs the old IR Consumer. I've been searching about how to implement it in Palm and I figured out that many people knew it was a big problem but none of them have came with a good solution.

A good solution I found was OmniRemote library (developed by Pacific Neo-Tek http://www.pacificneotek.com/ ). It works fine with old Tv's and many other IR Consumer devices except, of course (as Murphy would say), with the devide I need -> The Lego RCX.

OmniRemote has some trouble with their OrLibRcvData function the one I must use. So, it didn't help me.

Did anyone of you have some experience whith Consumer IR in Palm devices?
What about OmniRemote library?

I'm not looking just for answers, also for other users experience with this standards (or someone to cry with, :p)

Thanks
