I needed to configure tomcat for ssl-client authentication.
There is a table describing the attributes for connectors using ssl.
(http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/ssl-howto.html) under 'Edit the Tomcat
Configuration File'
In this table the 'crlFile' - attribute for the revocation list(s) is missing.
