Hello,

Is there any way to use the DiscRecording framework to read the Media ID from  
the current disc?  Advanced users will be able to interpret Media ID to confirm  
the manufacturer (except for counterfeit discs).  e.g. "MXLRG0x" : Maxell  
(Japan) or "MCC" / "MKM" : Mitsubishi Chemicals (Singapore / Tiawan)

I would not expect DiscRecording to expand the Media ID to reveal the  
manufacturer - I really only need to read the raw Media ID from the disc.

I tried printing the entire DRDevice status dictionary with DVD media  
inserted, but this information is not to be found there.  Should I be looking  
elsewhere?
