black is a male thing, ergonomics was secondary. manufacturers would
gladly collect the premium them boys paid for it. the same is true for
cars: black is a statement of success from a marketing perspective.
control freaks love it. how do you explain the fact that nearly all
camera bags and backpacks up to just recently were black? the industry
is changing slowly, but it does..
