[Fink-beginners] Install Problem

Downloaded, and installed Fink version .0.7.x
and fink commander comes up, with packages install,
and a list of new packages, that are available.
However, need to test if Fink is working correctly,
and PATH is set right.
DL a app, installed, but when to run it inside,
a terminal window, said command not found.
