To an extent. I'm a journalist who writes about free and open source software,
and if I join a group, I have to be careful about how I write about it. But
I'm definitely interested in seeing what happens, both with a local LibrePlanet
and with an FSF Canada; in fact, I would almost definitely write about an FSFC
if it emerged.
