Jewish Disability Awareness Month is in February, and the organizers are seeking Judaic children's and teen books featuring disabled characters or themes. I've already told them about Cakes & Miracles, Jeremy's Dreidel, Nathan Blows Out the Hanukkah Candles, The Printer, T4, Dreaming in Black and White, Yossi and Laibel on the Ball, and Invisible Chains. If you have further suggestions, please email Shelly at
schristensen@jfcs...; she is the Program Manager for JDAM.
Thanks!
