Look at the covers of the magazines. If one or two of them look
particularly cute, rip them off and have them permaplact to
decorate/lhang on the wall which will bring everyone's attention that
the magazines still exist but in a different glitzier format. You could
make a wall display of the best front covers of 9-10 magazines: "Your
library! Keeping up with the times! Good literature now on the
Internet".... or something like that.
Next, toss all the rest of the whole magazine kit-n-kaboodle into a
Free-Bee Bin with an invitation to whomever likes, to take home
howevermuch they like, of whatsoever strikes their fancy. After about a
month invite everybody to riffle through what's left and to RIP OUT out
articles that are of particular interest. At the end of another month,
buy a hamster or some guinea piggies for the library. Tear the magazines
that are left up into strips and you'll have several months of fluffy,
curly paper for the hamster to run around in.
