Hi,

We are using RCS in our UNIX server for version control and we are
facing problem when working with files more than 2 gigabytes.

* Is there any limitation storing file which is more 2 gigs?
* Is there 64-bit RCS Version available that can handle files,
which are more than 2 Gigs?
* Where can I get 64-bit RCS version available to download and
test.
* Is there any upgrade to RCS available?

Please help

I would be suprised if GNU RCS had large file support (LFS) installed.
Theoretically, a 64-bit version should work, but I would still think it
would need to have changes in the source.  RCS was designed for small
source code files, and only binary files later.  The GNU version hasn't
been updated in 15 years, and so it would be surprising if LFS was ever
implemented.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a 64-bit version with over 2 Gigs
of
free space to try and test this out.  If I did I'd try running a 64-bit
version of GNU/Linux (Debian or Fedora) and see.
