Have you used L4?. It was part of an rtos (PLAN9 afaik) for ss7  
systems. It has no native drivers and depends on the GNU universe to
even boot ;-00.
What would you use it for without drivers, tools etc. Oh
umm...security. Ya its totally secure u cant even login.
So you use L4 to bootstrap linux to use GNU tools.
What do you get. More bloat. Can you use L4 natively. You cant.

Wonder if you thought of tasting your recommended poison.
