Wanted to give ubuntu a spin. So downloaded the ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso
and burned to cd. Then booted. Splash screen comes up with the language
option followed by Try Ubuntu without any change to your computer. Then
nothing.
Hit enter.
still nothing
Check all the options and try to edit the command line.
No go.

Same with karmic Koala Alpha4

so what witch craft is needed to proceed beyond the splash screen?
