HIV cannot be narrowed down to a health problem. It is a social
problem as well. And the problems faced by People living with HIV is
not only from a health point of view. It has a lot to do with social
stigma. Also it a class problem, access to medicine and other
facilities.

Now NACO itself started talking of abstinence. I feel that somewhere
HIV educators, or education can also easily fall in to the trap of
'culture'.

This I have no idea. But do you think, alternative medicine will help
control AIDS?
