you are right in saying that class struggle pre-dated hegel. but it did not  
pre-dated dialectic. i think you and many firends from the list who defend  
dialectic forget about the fact that dialectic is not something you can  
construct voluntarily. you seem to have a very narrow concept of dilectic since  you
reduce it to hegelian version. but remember what engels said: unlike hegel  he
and marx want to discover dilecting in things in question - aolsin class  
struggle.
