Actually, the book DIALECTICAL CONTRADICTIONS is pretty good, as I remember
it, and is much more sophisticated than the usual diamat propaganda.  The
problem with CP-ish philosophers is that they are schizoid: they are
perfectly capable of sophisticated logical thought, but they fail to
challenge the popular claptrap dished out, for political reasons.

There are some interesting footnotes in this chapter I did not mention,
including analyses of statements by Tommy Jackson, Jim Lawler, and others.

The problem, however, is that Rosa's basic inspiration is
Wittgenstein--oy!--and ordinary language philosophy.  That, mixed with
workerist rhetoric.  I can't speak to the Fregean influence, but Frege
ultimately led to a paradox, if I'm not mistaken.  Rosa' intellectual
heritage is uniquely skewed: a combination of British linguistic philosophy
combined with diamat propaganda.  No real schooling in the dialectics of
Capital, the Frankfurt School, ideology critique, Marxist critique of
neopositivism and linguistic philosophy.  And apparently she did not come
here to learn anything, having no interest in listening, esp. to anyone who
wants to engage her texts as she requested.  Sad.

I haven't read Cornforth's critique of linguistic philosophy, which I
imagine is superior to his questionable presentation of diamat.  I want to
get Pavilionis' MEANING AND CONCEPTUAL SYSTEMS online, as it critiques the
whole Anglo-American tradition of philosophical semantics.  I also
recommend Mihailo Markovic's DIALECTICAL THEORY OF MEANING, excerpts of
