This is actually a Debian question, you need to get the source code, patch
and re-compile, e.g.:

sudo apt-get build-dep [package-name]
apt-get source [package-name]

cd [directory]

patch -p1 < [patch]

dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot

The parent dir should contain the new deb files now.
