Dear Marsha,

You wrote 30 Jul 16:11 -0400:
"I am surprised you never felt a curiosity to investigate Zen Philosophy?"

Quakerism performs the same functions for me. I would need too many
lifetimes to investigate everything that's of potential value to me.
Meditation and mindfulness (in Zen) and the attitude of seeking divine
guidance (in Quakerism) indeed belong to the intellectual level in my scheme
too, to its upper reaches.
Religiosity for me is no more and no less than identification with the
whole, the One, with Quality as such. Re-ligare, to re-connect... Are you
sure that religiosity is not needed either...?

With friendly greetings,

Wim
