I have had a single frontend/backend setup (FC4, mythtv 0.19, celeron
2.8GHz, 200GB storage, PVR-350 for recording/tv out, 1GB RAM) and it's
been great.  I decided to build a slave backend (FC4, p4 2.8GHz, 1TB
storage, WinTV bttv, 1GB RAM) and it's all fine until I go to watch
live tv (using the PVR-350 - no tv output on the slave).

Without the slave talking to the master live TV from the PVR-350 is
fine.  When I fire up the slave and it connects to the master, live tv
is cropped on the left and right borders on both tuners (PVR-350 and
WinTV) and on the PVR-350 tuner the colors are distorted.  Playing
previously recorded shows (recorded on the PVR-350) from prior to
adding the salve play back correctly with and without the new slave
connected.

Any ideas as to why adding a slave would distort and crop live tv?
