Subject: [Ntop] ntop web server stops responding

Hi All,

I see my ntop web server stop responding every few days (I really only
check it once in the morning unless there is a problem). The process
seems to keep running though the webserver is dead. I am running CentOS
5.3 and I have seen there are redhat type issues in the man page
suggesting "--disable-schedyield" and also I saw some google posts
suggesting the use of "--ignore-sigpipe" (though this does not appear to
be an ntop option).

I thought I also saw chatter about ntop crashing when being run on
RHEL/CenOS with multiple monitored interfaces, but I am only monitoring
one.

So is there a prevailing thought on troubleshooting this problem, or
should I just try those two suggestions and see what mileage I get out
of them?

Here is my current startup parameters:

ntop 1889 1 2 17:03 ? 00:00:11 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u
ntop -o -m 192.168.1.0/24,x.xx.xx.xxx/25 -i eth2 -a
/var/log/ntop/ntop.somewhere.com -w 0 -W 192.168.1.xxx:8443 -d

Thanks,
James
