Hi,

I am looking for any information/connections to the Wilhelm Frederick
Remmers family.  They came from the Jever area.   They settled in
Pottawattamie County, IA.  We have info on  family in the US.  Trying to
find connections and more info with the families in the Jever area.

Wilhelm Frederick Remmers b: January 06, 1832
married Henrietta Gerdes b: 1830
Children:
Marie Remmers  b: 1854
Frederick William Remmers  b: 1859
Helena (Lena) C. Remmers b: December 1862
Angeline "Lena" Elisabeth Remmers  b: May 1870
(Frieda) Henrietta Willemena Louise Remmers  b: January 01, 1873
Katharine Henrietta Remmers  b: September 24, 1880
Three other children that died in Germany

Wilhelm, Henrietta and their three younger daughters arrived in the US
September 18, 1891.  The other three came over about 5 - 10 years prior to
this.   Recently found emmigration on Angeline's husband, Gerhard Reelfs.
He left August 27, 1891 from Jever.  Would it take three weeks to arrive?
If so, then there is an excellent possibility that he came with the other
Remmers' too.  Gerhard was from Cleverns.  Which from what I can find on
mapquest.com is that Jever and Cleverns are about 3 miles from each other.
I am a descendent of Frieda  b.1873, she is my great grandmother.  Wilhelm's
obit says he was Lutheran.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate all help and leads.

Faith
