[Opencomputing-openprotect] Every message scanned twice
by David Geens

Dear all,

I am encountering the following problem:
It seems that every message on our SMTP server is checked twice.

I can see the spamcheck headers twice in every message:
X-ISP-MailScanner-SpamCheck: not spam (whitelisted),
    SpamAssassin (score=-3.374, required 6, BAYES_00 -4.90,
    HTML_70_80 0.10, HTML_FONTCOLOR_UNKNOWN 0.10, HTML_MESSAGE 0.10,
    MISSING_SUBJECT 1.23, UPPERCASE_25_50 0.00)
  not spam (whitelisted),
    SpamAssassin (score=-3.374, required 6, BAYES_00 -4.90,
    HTML_70_80 0.10, HTML_FONTCOLOR_UNKNOWN 0.10, HTML_MESSAGE 0.10,
    MISSING_SUBJECT 1.23, UPPERCASE_25_50 0.00)

But this is creating a problem when using the whitelist for messages coming
from our webserver, they are first seen as whitelisted, but the second scan
is mentioning "from ece" and is seeing the message not from that certain IP
and is then using normal rules:

Jun 23 12:15:07 puccy MailScanner[16075]: Message 7929979 from 195.207.48.25
(xxx@xxx....) is whitelisted
Jun 23 12:15:07 puccy MailScanner[16075]: Virus and Content Scanning:
Starting
Jun 23 12:15:07 puccy MailScanner[16075]: Uninfected: Delivered 2 messages
Jun 23 12:15:12 puccy MailScanner[15987]: New Batch: Scanning 2 messages,
3604 bytes
Jun 23 12:15:12 puccy MailScanner[15987]: Spam Checks: Starting
Jun 23 12:15:12 puccy MailScanner[15987]: Message 7929976 from ece (
xxx@xxx....) to xxx.be is spam, SpamAssassin (score=6.501, required 6,
ALUSSINAN_5 .0$

Somebody any kind of idea what is happening here and how to resolve this?

Sincerely,
David
