[qsiteict] Syllabus vs task specific criteria
by Richard Kelly

I have attached an extended response (folio) assessment task for the new
syllabus (algorithms and software programming using RoboAnt). I initially
wrote it with just the syllabus criteria for marking (see the document "with
syllabus criteria"). After feedback from my teachers and students, they
wanted to see a more task specific criteria sheet (to make it easier to mark
and easier for the students to see what they are supposed to do exactly to
get an A, B, etc). See the document "with task specific criteria".

I am seeking feedback on this. Many times my monitoring and verification
submissions have come back with comments saying that they would like to see
the task specific criteria more closely aligned with the syllabus criteria.
Do you think that the task specific criteria I have written are aligned with
the syllabus criteria closely enough?

Any other feedback about the task itself? The students are having a great
time with it.

Regards,
-Richard Kelly
