The Journal of Chemical Education has started a series of 'Live Texts'
by publishing the first of the series ('Quantum States of Atoms and
Molecules') on their website. These are meant to be mini-texts on
particular subjects, with all the content on the website. Any chemistry
educators on this list might like to have a look at the first text and
perhaps drop a polite note to JCE about the wisdom of using WMF
(Windows Metafile) graphics for all the main figures. Is there a web
browser for OS X which will display these graphics? IE, Safari and
Firefox won't.
None of the pages pass the W3C online validator either, which is
disappointing.
