Dear all,

We use a slightly old iMac G4 as our group's server.
Recently an external FireWire drive was installed.
We intend to use the drive as our common disk space
to share large numerical experimental data.

However I found that the drive is automounted on log in
and auto unmounted on log out.
It is not mounted when accessed remotely.

What is the most preferred way to automount an external disk?
fstab? NetInfo?

I'd be happy to hear your experience.
