You're right, we should get SigLinux started up again, and set it up so the ACM directs attention our way, and vice versa. We have CDs, and more to the point, expertise. Many cs students want to set up Linux at least for dual-booting, and could use a place to go for help, whether it's a monthly installfest, or online. And from there, we can try to interest students in other majors as well. Maybe put up flyers at the Campus Computer Store for Ubuntu and OpenOffice, so those poor people about to shell out cash for WinXP and Office know they don't have to. And see if we can get a few Linux machines set up in the FAC, so people can try it easily. They already have a few Macs, alongside all the Windows boxes. Troy did mention that he probably wouldn't have much time for it this year. How can I get in touch with Vlad or Richard? Are you guys reading this?
