Hello;
A user sent the following. I have no idea what this problem is; I
suspect it's on the
playback end, but I'm not sure. The source is MPEG-4 sourced using
DSS 5.5.1
Anyone have any ideas ?
Regards
Marshall
You may be interested in a strange ERRATIC problem I have when viewing
QuickTime movies from WWW.AMERICAFREE.TV. My NVIDIA display card is
setup so that a full-screen, TV-out signal is sent to a secondary
display... an adjacent TV connected via an S-video cable. When viewing
your QT or QT7 movies, the video on my primary display is fine, but the
TV video is often blank.
Since the TV set plays other videos flawlessly, the problem seems to be
at my PC... or perhaps(?) at your website. This set never has a problem
in any other video mode... including playback of PC-video from Windows
Media Player. I have discovered a strange "work-around" --- if the PC
plays a streaming WMV file beforehand, my TV set can then playback your
movies without problems.
My configuration...
- Dell 4600, Pentium 4 2.8 GHz MP, with Windows XP Home SP2
- NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 with AGP8X, using CLONE mode and TV-out
- Primary display, Viewsonic A70f+ CRT monitor with 800x600 and full
hw-acceleration
- QuickTime 7
- Windows Media Player 9
- DSL connection via SBC
