Hi Troy,

More information:

I just successfully set up the Parallel view on my desktop, with no
problem.  The problem on my laptop probably relates to a difficulty I've
had with other programs remembering application state.  Libre Office,
for example, will open up to the point were I last saved the open
document, on my desktop, but on the laptop it just opens to the
beginning of the document.  This happens to some other programs, and I
have no idea why.

One more issue I found: Dictionary Lookup, from the context menu,
doesn't work.  The Strong number 2491 shows at the top of the list box,
but the entries show 05616 to 05624.  The answer to that may be obvious,
but N-NSM switches the dictionary to Robinson, appears properly at the
top of the list box, but then displays A-DPM.
