[UC-Announce] Singing City and Handel's Messiah

                  SING AND SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY


                 Join Singing City on Sunday, December 4, at 2:30 pm at the
First Baptist Church, 17th and Sansom, for Sing In Sing Out!

                  Sing the Messiah as part of this renowned Choir and then
join together to bring holiday carols to shelters, a hospice and an area
hospital.

                  Join Singing City and very special guest soloists for this
holiday favorite - the audience participation concert where hundreds of
music lovers raise their voices together with the Chorus to re-create
Handel's brilliant masterpiece, Messiah. Even if you just want to listen,
it's a wonderful way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Bring your
own score or pick up one in the lobby prior to the concert. All musical and
nonmusical abilities are welcome!

                  Soloists include  Randi Marrazzo, soprano; Suzanne
DuPlantis, mezzo soprano; Stephen Costello, tenor; Michael Riley, bass;
James Batt, organist; Brian Appleby-Wineberg and James Herzog, trumpets; and
Enid Horowitz, timpani.

                  Following the Messiah Sing In, members of the audience are
invited to join Singing City in traveling to Women of Hope Shelters, Mercy
Hospice and Hahnemann Hospital to sing holiday songs.  Song sheets will be
provided.
