We've booked (thanks to Mary) 2 cabins at Icy Creek, 15kms or so south of Dwellingup (near Nanga Mill) from Friday 3rd June to Monday 6th.
There's a well-appointed camp kitchen (big fridge, gas stove, plenty of food bins), gas BBQ & steaming hot showers. We can have a campfire each night, to swap tall (or short - there's no discrimination) stories. Those who don't like a roof overhead can pitch their tents outside. The Nanga Tiger is probably a myth, so camping should be safe.
There'll be rides each day, starting at 9am. Distance & degree of difficulty will be decided on the day; if necessary we'll cater for 2 groups at a time a la Mt Billy.
Come for a day, 2 days, the whole weekend. If you don't feel like doing a particular ride, relax with a book; have a coffee; think great (or insignificant) thoughts; talk to the trees; snore contentedly.
Bring: food; crockery & cutlery; cooking pot(s); pillow & sleeping bag (wake her if necessary); torch + bike & riding gear.
Cost of accommodation: around $6.00/night, so start saving.
If you're coming, let Mary/Gavin or me know.
