Running Real Player on PS3

I installed YDL6 on my PS3 as I wanted to be able to listen to live radio
broadcast from the BBC which appear to be streamed using Real Player. The
Linux player on the Real web site is for x86 devices, so I downloaded both
RealPlayer 10.0.0 and Helix Player 1.0.0 from the Helix Community site. Both
appeared to install fine but then would not run. After installing some
missing C++ libraries I was able to make the Helix player run but it will
not play the stream from the BBC site. I cannot get the RealPlayer to run at
all. I note that although the download was labelled as for PPC, in the file
name "x86" (or something similar) appears - could it be simply that the
wrong file has been put on the Helix website?

I am new to Linux and would be really grateful to know if anyone has managed
to play streamed BBC radio on their PS3 running YDL and, if so, how?

Thanks in advance,

Andrew
